Sergeant Chase Fulcher

Chase Fulcher, Sergeant, United States Army Airborne, had an exemplary and distinguished career in the military and he comes from a family rich in military tradition. His Great Grandfather, Leslie Reynolds, served in World War I; his Grandmother and Grandfather, Les and Freda Reynolds, both served in World War II; he has an uncle who served in Vietnam; and two brothers, Kirk and Jarod, both served in the U.S. Army Airborne. His brother Kirk is honored by a cross here in Central Park marking his untimely death.
Upon leaving the military, Chase returned to Henderson where he became one of the most successful insurance agents in the nation and is a leading philanthropist. He has continued to serve through his active involvement in civic causes too numerous to mention. Chase enlisted in the United States Army in 1982 after graduation from Henderson County Senior High School. After completing basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, where he met his wife, Majorie, he then joined the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was chosen as the single honor graduate for the Army’s Airborne Academy, and Foreign Language Schools. Shortly thereafter he became an instructor at the Air Assault School as well as becoming a repel master and a jungle combat expert. He received a top secret clearance, was awarded the Army Commendation Medal by the Secretary of the Army, and achieved the rank of Sergeant in only nineteen months of active duty. During his tenure in Airborne signal surveillance, he completed many covert missions around the world. He also was Soldier of the Quarter and Soldier of the Year while serving in Europe. After reaching Sergeant E5, he was offered a position in the elite Delta Force. Chase qualified as an expert on weaponry ranging from the rifle, and hand grenades to rocket launchers. He was also awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon, Achievement Medal, and lastly, the Good Conduct Medal.
Chase and his wife Marjorie are the parents of son, Dale Fulcher, a Henderson firefighter (wife, Brittney), and a daughter, Katelyn Flick, currently a medical school student (husband, Daniel). Chase is also a proud Grandfather to Paisley and Cru.
