Christmas at Hanson 2018

Ken and Mark set up the jukebox
Today, the Henderson War Memorial Foundation presented gifts to the 91 residents of the Western Kentucky Veterans Center. All the Vets received a shirt with their service emblem on it, gloves, socks, writing tablets and pens, snacks, soft drinks and more! The crowning gift, however, was a jukebox presented by the Foundation for the Vets’ Recreation Room at the Center. Every kind of music from Glenn Miller, to Hank Williams, to John Lennon was loaded on the jukebox. The Vets and staff immediately hit the dance floor. Thanks to all who made this year’s Christmas for the Veterans possible, but special thanks to Ken Christopher, Mark Hargis, Jim and Sherrie Smith, Jim Hanley, Danny Banks, and the Henderson Elks Club.
